ADRIAN BLANCO, PIANO
A native of Barcelona, Adrian Blanco is an accomplished concert pianist and chamber musician. Debuting as a soloist at the age of fifteen performing Mozart's Kv. 499 Concerto, he has performed in venues around Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom, Finland, and New York where he is currently completing a Masters in Contemporary Performance at the Manhattan School of Music.
With his current focus on new music, Mr. Blanco has commissioned and premiered works by renowned composers such as Joan Magrane and Einojuhani Rautavaara. His collaboration with living composers and incorporatino of multimedia visuals in his performances reflects his commitment to the cultural landscape of contemporary art-forms.
He is currently working on a project due to premiere in late November, entitled Dali's Fixations, which consists of five new pieces for piano inspired by the famous painter's works.
