2023 CONCERT SEASON

The Louis Moreau Institute is excited to present two concerts for our 2023 festival featuring Bree Ahern, cello; Theodosia Roussos, oboe; Giancarlo Latta, violin; Amy Tan, viola; accompanied by Assistant Artistic Director Wesley Ducote on piano. This year's festival will feature world premieres of three works by composers with ties to the Crescent City. Dennis H Miller premieres his latest video works, In the Distance, in collaboration with New Orleans pianist and composer Lawrence Sieberth, and Evolver: Three AnImated Sketches. The festival will close out with the premiere of As a Watcher on the World by New Orleans composer Stephen Montalvo.

We will also again host an Institute Artist Meet & Greet and Concert Preview at the Brieux Carre Brewing Co. on Monday, March 13th at 7:30 PM. More information about these events can be found on Facebook or @louisinstitute as it becomes available, we hope to see you there!
